Call for participants for a website usability study of CommunAbility

PARTICIPANTS NEEDED  - 

for a website usability study of the CommunAbility website:
• Are you a college or university student with a disability
or a recent college or university grad with a disability?
• Do you use social media apps?
• Do you have a few hours to spare to help us develop a
website for students with disabilities?

What is the purpose of the study?

We are looking for your feedback about the design of our website so we can make
improvements before we launch the site.

What will I be doing in a usability study?

Part 1: Complete tasks using the website and answer questions about your experience
Part 2: Explore the website at your convenience and complete an online questionnaire

How long are the sessions?

The first part of the study is an hour and 15 minutes and the second is only 10-15 mins.
You will receive an honorarium of $100 in recognition of the time involved in the
usability study.

When and where?

Part 1: George Brown College’s Waterfront Campus OR UOIT Oshawa Campus
Part 2: Anywhere you have access to the internet

NOTE: You must agree to be videotaped and have your voice recorded to participate in
this study.

This study has been approved by the George Brown College Research Ethics Board
(#6004275 on June 13, 2018) Nipissing University Research Ethics Board (#101121 on
Aug 30, 2018 )UOIT Research Ethics Board (REB #14089 on Aug 28, 2018)
