Discovering Your Path: NEADS Presents Innovative Approaches to Employment Support Through Virtual Job Coaching
The National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS) announces an upcoming webinar showcasing its newest program, ’Building Employment Pathways’, featuring innovative approaches to virtual job coaching and employment support for post-secondary students and recent graduates with disabilities.
Join us on November 20th, 2024, at 3:00 PM ET to 4:30 ET and meet the team and the job coaches for an interactive session exploring transformative coaching methodologies and tools that go beyond traditional employment support. This webinar will demonstrate how personalized, holistic job coaching designed with the Sustainable Livelihoods approach and motivational interviewing at its core is helping participants with disabilities navigate their career journeys successfully. It goes beyond building employable skills and includes discussing the various realities and situations impacting their capacities to obtain and retain employment.
"Our coaching program takes a comprehensive approach to employment support, addressing not just job search skills but the whole person," says Katja Newman, Building Employment Pathways Program Manager. "We're excited to share how this innovative methodology is creating positive outcomes for participants and open it more widely to people with disabilities who recently graduated."
Event Highlights:

• Information about accessing up to 20 hours of free job coaching services
