Ontario AODA Postsecondary Education Standards Development Committee Final Recommendations Posted

I am pleased to announce that the Government of Ontario has posted both the AODA Postsecondary Education Standards Development Committee’s Final Recommendations Report and the Education Technical Sub-Committee’s Transition Report online.

The committees were tasked with identifying accessibility barriers in Ontario’s publicly funded postsecondary education sector and provide recommendations on measures to prevent and remove these barriers for students with disabilities through the development of a proposed Education Accessibility Standard.

The government is now carefully reviewing the final recommendations and may accept them in full, in part, or with modification.

Please forward this notice to your networks, post on the NEADS website, and share with other interested parties.
