Virtual Coffee with NEADS on Friday, June 5th at 3:00 p.m. EDT - Speakers Elizabeth Mohler and Jessica Dubelaar of Magnet job site!

Come join the National Educational Association of Disabled Students (NEADS) for our virtual coffees, every Friday at 3pm Eastern Daylight Time. Share your experience and ask questions relating to accessibility supports, discuss mental health, and meet new people (for now, all from the comfort of your own home)! The coffee conversation, or tea if you prefer, will be via Zoom - details are below. Our next chat is Friday, June 5th at 3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. EDT. We are using our Zoom professional account now to ensure we have the full hour for this event. Elizabeth Mohler and Jessica Dubelaar of the Magnet job site will be making a presentation on the new ALIGN job matching tool and fielding questions afterwards. There will also be about 30 minutes to go "around the table" to check-in with folks. We're happy to go longer than the hour too for those who wish to spend more time connecting.

This event will be captioned!

ALiGN for Diverse Recruitment Webinar

Are you looking to jump-start your career but not sure where to begin? Do you have a hard time articulating the unique strengths you would bring to an employer? Consider attending the ALiGN for Diverse Recruitment Webinar in partnership with Magnet (an initiative of Ryerson University) and NEADS.

This 30 minute interactive webinar will explore ALiGN, a new job matching tool that connects job seekers to employers through a personality assessment. Given the changing employment landscape that COVID-19 has created, now is a perfect time to uncover your hidden strengths and explore how you can use this information in your job search.

By signing up for ALiGN, job candidates will complete a confidential personality assessment to identify their own unique characteristics and are then matched with roles based on aptitude and personality attributes. ALiGN is an opportunity to explore career options you may not have previously considered.
