Interested in Shaping the Future of Disability Accommodations?

Call for Participants Crip Time, Law and the Duty to Accommodate: Toward a Legal Materialist Understanding of the Lives of Workers with Disabilities

Purpose of the research: 

This research study aims to explore how conceptions of time impact the way employers accommodate workers with disabilities in Ontario. The study involves interviewing English-speaking adults aged 18–65 to identify how barriers relating to time impact your work, including hours and location. The study also explores accommodation policies and what supports you would like to see in the workplace. 

Compensation: $25 for participating in a one-hour virtual interview. Funding: This project is funded by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC). Please note that this project is being conducted independently from any organizations or agencies from which participants may be recruited. Participation is open to Ontario residents only.  This study has been approved by the Research Ethics Board of the University of Ottawa.
