Occasion d’emploi pour étudiants en situation de handicap - Été 2022 / Summer 2022 Employment Opportunity for Students with Disabilities (EOSD)

Hiring students and building a representative public service remains a top priority for the Public Service of Canada where students are the future of the Public Service, and that includes students with disabilities.

Please encourage your students to apply to the Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) and to complete the self-identification questionnaire. 

Candidates who have chosen to self-declare as having a disability under the Federal Student Work Experience Program (FSWEP) will be supported by a variety of services offered through the Employment Opportunity for Students with Disabilities (EOSD) initiative. 

EOSD offers a mentoring program, activities, training, networking opportunities and support services designed for students with disabilities and their managers. 

These services help improve the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the Public Service and provide managers and students with tools to facilitate inclusion.

And for those students who will be graduating, please also encourage them to apply to the Virtual Door to Talent with Disabilities, an inventory of students who have taken part in EOSD and are now looking for full-time employment in the public service.

Encourage your students to apply and they could become the next generation of leaders!

L'embauche d'étudiants et la création d'une fonction publique représentative demeurent une priorité absolue pour la fonction publique du Canada, où les étudiants représentent l'avenir de la fonction publique, et cela inclut les étudiants en situation de handicap.

Encouragez vos étudiants à s’inscrire au Programme fédéral d’expérience de travail étudiant (PFETE)  et à répondre au questionnaire d’auto-déclaration. 

Les candidats qui ont choisi de s'auto-déclarer comme étant une personne en situation de handicap dans le cadre du Programme fédéral d'expérience de travail étudiant (PFETE) seront soutenus par une variété de services offerts dans le cadre de l'initiative Occasions d’emploi pour les talents en situation de handicap (OEESH). 

L'OEESH propose un programme de mentorat, des activités, de la formation, des possibilités de réseautage et des services de soutien conçus pour les étudiants en situation de handicap et leurs gestionnaires. 

Ces services contribuent à améliorer l'inclusion des personnes handicapées dans la fonction publique et fournissent aux gestionnaires et aux étudiants des outils pour faciliter l'inclusion.

Et pour les étudiants qui obtiendront leur diplôme, veuillez également les encourager à postuler à la Porte Virtuelle des talents en situation de handicap, un répertoire des étudiants qui ont participé à l'OEESH, et qui sont maintenant à la recherche d'un emploi à temps plein dans la fonction publique.
