DetailsThe University of Windsor is committed to establishing equity in the workplace and reducing the barriers to learning. The Campus Accessibility Advovacy Committee (CAAC) acts in an advisory role to create policies within the University of Windsor community to advocate for persons with disabilities and to educate the University community about disability related issues. CAAC reports annually to the President of the University of Windsor. In response to the Ontarians with Disabilities Act, (ODA) 2001 & Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act 2005 (AODA), the University of Windsor prepares an Annual Accessibility Plan through a process of consultation with faculty, staff, and students with disabilities. The purpose of the Annual Accessibility Plan is to assist the University of Windsor to think strategically about barrier identification and removal, and to prioritize accessibility as a primary focus in all future planning.
