Would you like to get more involved with the mad and disabled community at University of Toronto and at large?
Are you looking to gain experience being on Board of Directors for a non-profit organization?

Are you interested in (advocating for) accessibility in post-secondary education?
Are you a current student or an alumni of University of Toronto?

If so, Students for Barrier-free Access (SBA) is a great place for you!

SBA is opening our nomination process for members to become our Board of Directors for Fall 2018 - Winter 2019 academic year. Join us for our information session to meet our current Board of Directors and to learn more about the work we do!

The event is an accessible venue. A single-user all-gender accessible washroom is located on the same floor as the event space.

SBA Centre

Drop by to relax and hang out in our inclusive, anti-oppressive space between classes. The main components of the centre are comprised of a resource library, a computer lab, a lounge area, and a study room. Whether you want to unwind in our lounge and de-stress with some complimentary tea, or borrow a title from our collection of disability literature and DVDs, or book time in our study room, or use our computer lab equipped with Wi-Fi, a scanner, and large screen computers with accessible software (Kurzweil and Jaws), we’ve got you covered. Plus, we offer free printing services (10-page limit).

Hours of Operation: Monday – Thursday 11:30am – 5:30pm and Friday 12:30am – 5:30pm.
