October is Disability Employment Awareness Month In Manitoba!

We are pleased to advise you that American business leader, Randy Lewis, will be addressing this year’s employABILITY Expo at Winnipeg’s Norwood Hotel, Thursday morning, October 12, 2017. (Pre-registration is required.)

Mr. Lewis is the former Senior Vice-President of Walgreens and is currently a Director at Wendy’s. He is an internationally renowned advocate for inclusive employment and was recognized by the American Leader of the Year Award. Mr. Lewis will explain his business rationale for integrating over 1,000 people with disabilities into Walgreens over a ten-year period.

Following the breakfast presentation, the employABILITY Expo will feature a panel of forward thinking Manitoba business leaders who will talk about their experiences hiring employees with disabilities. A career fair will offer job seekers with disabilities an opportunity to connect with employers an employment-related service agencies.
