"Brain Tumour Genetics and Neurosurgical Simulation: Moving Forward, Ever Forward"
This presentation will focus on genetics and techniques and this is moving the brain tumour community forward.

12:45 pm - 1:45 pm - Networking Lunch for those wishing to stay.

The networking lunch is an opportunity for participants to connect with other survivors, patients, caregivers, families and Health Care Professionals to speak about varied topics around pediatrics, Quality of Life, Treatment, and Surgery. **A $20 per person fee, to cover lunch costs, will be charged for those wishing to stay.

Speaker Bios

Wanda Sawicki, OATR, MPS, is a registered art therapist with twenty years' experience working in community health settings. She has a Master of Arts in Psychotherapy and Spirituality, a program which promotes an integration of psychology, spirituality and creativity, from St. Stephen’s College in Edmonton, Alberta. An Associate Instructor in the Thanatology program at King’s University College in London, Ontario, she teaches Creative Responses to Death and Bereavement. She has national and international experience as a workshop facilitator.

Dr. Del Maestro is the William Feindel Professor Emeritus in Neuro-Oncology at McGill University. As the Director of the Neurosurgerical Simulation Research Centre at the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital at McGill University, his research is now focused on surgical simulation using the NeuroTouch platform working in cooperation with the National Research Council of Canada and multiple national and international research groups.
